By Fully Injected Motorsports:
Pittsburgh, PA (October 13, 2015) – After recently concluding his 2015 UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions campaign with a 10th place finish during Eldora Speedway’s UNOH Sprintacular on Saturday, October 10, and wrapping up the championship chase eighth in the series standings, Danny Holtgraver will move ahead and prepare for a doubleheader weekend in central Pennsylvania with car owner Pete Grove.
Holtgraver and Grove will join the “Pennsylvania Posse” on two separate occasions during the upcoming weekend, beginning with the $5,000-to-win, “Outlaw Tune-Up” at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday, October 17. Action will continue on Sunday evening, October 18, at the Path Valley Speedway Park near Spring Run for Fred Rahmer’s “Party at the Path” worth $6,600. If all things go according to plan, Holtgraver will return to Port Royal Speedway on Saturday, October 24, to face-off against the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series.
“Really excited for the opportunity to team up with Pete Grove this weekend” said Danny Holtgraver, “Cody Jacobs is going to come on board with us and be our head mechanic. We’ve been growing more and more comfortable with each other the last few weeks. I think we have a lot of potential and I’m excited to see how it plays out in the Pete Grove #70. I want to also thank Tom and Sherry Leidig for the opportunity this season to drive their #59. We had our ups and downs, but still managed to show some speed and success at certain times.”
Danny Holtgraver has made one start in 2015 for Pete Grove. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, native finished third during Atomic Speedway’s “Freedom 40” on Sunday, October 4.
“We have a great opportunity to make something happen this weekend” explained Danny Holtgraver, “I’ve always enjoyed racing in central Pennsylvania. Port Royal Speedway is a track I always look forward to getting back to. We’ve had some success there and we’ll try to repeat that on Saturday.”
“Path Valley is just awesome” said Danny Holtgraver, “Fred Rahmer does an amazing job promoting races in central Pennsylvania and we definitely didn’t want to pass this up. I’ve raced everything at Path Valley, from go-karts to sprint cars- just a real unique setting and it should be exciting for the fans.”
