The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native and former Lernerville Speedway track champion finished second (2nd) and tenth (10th), respectively, during last season’s ‘Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup’ twin-30 lap features. Although Danny Holtgraver’s schedule may look to have a large gap between Buffalo River Raceway and their last stop at Husets Speedway, that is certainly not the case.
Danny Holtgraver will spend ten (10) days at the Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa beginning Thursday evening, August 1st; racing with the world’s greatest ‘360’ sprint car drivers and the world’s greatest ‘410’ sprint car drivers. The B&R Racing ‘45’ team, which is owned and funded by Mr. Bryan Grove and Mr. Rob Hunter out of Ohio, will compete in not only the 53rd Annual Knoxville Nationals from August 7th through the 10th, but they will also compete in the 23rd Annual Arnold Supply ‘360’ Knoxville Nationals from August 1st through the 3rd; featuring the Lucas Oil ASCS national sprint cars. Danny Holtgraver has been ultra-competitive in both levels (360 & 410) of sprint car racing during the 2013 season thus far, and hopes to continue that momentum into this year’s Knoxville Raceway ten-day road trip. The recent UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions winner at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania has proven his competitiveness in all levels of sprint car racing in 2013 by not only earning two (2) UNOH All Star victories, but also earning the $10,000-to-win, ‘King of the 360s’ event at the East Bay Raceway Park (FL) back in February.
