Holtgraver Ends DIRTcar Nationals with Top-Ten; Ready To Defend ‘King of 360’s’ at East Bay!
Three Nights of ‘360’ Sprint Car Competition Next for Hunter Racing ‘10H’ at East Bay Raceway Park

Tampa, FL (February 17th, 2014) – The sprint car portion of the DIRTcar Nationals Presented by Summit Racing Equipment finally wrapped up at the Volusia Speedway Park near Daytona Beach, Florida. The World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series kicked-off their 2014 campaign during the annual DIRTcar Nationals program; headlining the event on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, February 14th, 15th & 16th. Some of the nation’s top ‘410’ sprint car pilots were signed in for competition during all three nights of the WoO STP invasion; including Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native, Danny Holtgraver. Holtgraver qualified for all three (3) WoO STP main events over the course of the weekend; earning three (3) top-fifteen place finishes with ‘The Greatest Show On Dirt.’ The highest finish recorded for Danny Holtgraver during the recent weekend was an impressive tenth place finish on Sunday evening, February 16th. Steve Kinser, a twenty-time WoO STP Sprint Car Series champion, earned the $10,000 victory.
“We had a great week at Volusia” explained Danny Holtgraver, “Last night’s top-ten with the Outlaws felt great…we passed a lot of cars during the final restart and ended up tenth…this team has been working hard non-stop since we crossed the Florida border…I can’t thank Rob Hunter enough for everything he has done to put this deal together…we’ll move on to East Bay and see what we can do!”
Danny Holtgraver ended his Volusia Speedway Park/DIRTcar Nationals campaign with the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series with three A-main starts out of three attempts. The former Lernerville Speedway track champion kicked off the weekend with a fifteenth (15th) place performance on Friday night, February 14th; rallied with an eleventh (11th) place finish on Saturday evening, February 15th; and capped-off the weekend with a tenth (10th) place run on Sunday night, February 16th. All three main events were thirty (30) laps in distance paying $10,000 to the winner. Brad Sweet, Donny Schatz and Steve Kinser were all respective WoO winners during the recent weekend.
Hunter Racing and Danny Holtgraver will switch gears for the upcoming weekend and make their way to the East Bay Raceway Park near Tampa, Florida. The Ronald Laney Memorial “King of 360’s” will be the highlighted event at East Bay this Thursday through Saturday, February 20th – 22nd; awarding $10,000 to the ‘360’ sprint car main event champion on Saturday night. Holtgraver, who will pilot his familiar Hunter Racing, Berlin Natural Bakery, Bonnell’s Rod Shop, Alternative Power Sources, West View Motors, DKW Transport, no. 10H during the upcoming ‘360’ sprint car event, is the defending “King of 360’s” champion at East Bay Raceway Park; earning the $10,000 pay day last February. This year’s program will feature three (3) complete nights of action for the 360ci powered sprint cars; kicking off with preliminary action on Thursday and Friday, February 20th & 21st. Each preliminary night will award $1,500 to the main event winner. Saturday night, February 22nd will feature the $10,000-to-win “King of 360’s” finale.
