The All-Star Circuit of Champions will be invading northwest Ohio this Friday and Saturday, September 16th and 17th, for a double header weekend at Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio. The Jim Ford Classic weekend will offer 80 laps of total feature racing for the All-Star sprints; and a total winner’s share equaling $14,000. Friday night’s action will consist of a thirty lap, $4,000 to win feature for the 410 sprint cars; with Saturday night’s Jim Ford Classic finale giving away $10,000 to the winner of the fifty lap event.

Western Pennsylvania’s very own, Tim Shaffer, will lead the All-Stars into this weekend’s Ohio Region event at Fremont. Shaffer currently sits on top of the National standings and Ohio Region standings entering the weekend. In his most recent All-Star starts, Shaffer found victory lane in three consecutive races; only to be knocked off by former All-Star champion, Dale Blaney, at Butler Speedway in Quincy, Michigan last Sunday during Labor Day Weekend.

Team Fully Injected hotshoe, Danny Holtgraver, will be competing with the All-Stars at Fremont this weekend; as he continues to run full time with the Ohio Region portion of the All-Star schedule. Holtgraver currently sits 4th in the Ohio Region standings, as well as maintains a top 10 position in the National points chase. Danny’s most recent success with the All-Star Circuit of Champions consists of 2 fast time awards, and 4 top six (6) place finishes in a row with the series over Labor Day Weekend. Holtgraver will look to keep his recent success in stride during the upcoming events and solidify his spot in the All-Star standings.
