Danny Holtgraver now owns victories at three different facilities in 2011.
Pittsburgh Pennsylvania’s Danny Holtgraver has been doing more than turning heads this 2011 racing season; he’s been turning laps into wins! The 2010 Lernerville Track Champion dominated the feature event last night at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania by winning at a large margin of almost a half-lap when the 25 lapper was all said and done. Danny’s win at Lernerville last night continued his streak of consistent victory lane appearances; which started a few weeks ago at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. Since then, he has won events at Mercer Raceway Park, and Lernerville Speedway.

Danny was joined by fellow FI teammate, Brandon Matus, on the podium last night at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania. Matus, the young man from Wampum, Pennsylvania and who is formally known as “The Wheelman”, finished in the show position last night; coming home 3rd in the 25 lap event. Kittanning, PA native, Kevin Schaeffer, finished 4th in last night’s event- while fellow Kittanning, native, Rod George, ended his night also with a top ten- coming home 7th.
Rimersburg, Pennsylvania native, Scott Priester, won his respective heat race at Lernerville Speedway last night. The 25 year sprint car veteran would end the night with a top 10 performance; finishing 8th just behind fellow teammate, Rod George.

Tim Shaffer found himself in victory lane last night at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio for the annual Knight Before the Kings Royal friday night event. The western Pennsylvania native and former World of Outlaw regular for many seasons, earned the victory by out dueling Jason Meyers and Paul McMahan during the 30 lap event. There were 45 cars on hand for the Kings Royal weekend opener; Joey Saldana had quick time.

‘Hunter Percent’ Schuerenberg of Sikeston, Missouri, picked up the win in round number 6 of Indiana Sprint Week 2011 at the Bloomington Speedway in Bloomington, Indiana last night. The young man took the lead on lap 11 and would lead the remaining 20 laps of the 30 lap event to capture his second victory of 2011 Indiana Sprint Week. Dave Darland, Danny Holtsclaw, Bryan Clauson, and Jerry Coons Jr. rounded out the top 5. Chris Windom continues to hold down the points lead in the Indiana Sprint Week standings with only one night of competition remaining.
In central PA news; Lance Dewease would grab the “Outlaw Tune-up” victory at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Cory Haas, a former 358 regular in central Pennsylvania and recent Fully Injected rep, finished just outside the top 10 in last night’s A-main event at Williams Grove by crossing the line 11th. Tonight; central PA action picks back up at the Lincoln and Port Royal Speedway’s.
Cole Duncan found victory lane last night at Skyline Speedway; while recent Wayne County hotshoe, Rob Chaney, found himself in victory lane there for the second consecutive weekend.
The ASCS National Tour opener at Greys Harbor Raceway fell victim to rain last night.
