HOME SWEET HOME: Cory Eliason and TKS Motorsports set focus on Sprint Car Capital of the World

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

MITCHELLVILLE, Iowa (April 14, 2025) – For the first time this season, The Sprint Car Capital of the World – Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa – will be opening its doors to competition, and as expected, Mitchellville, Iowa’s TKS Motorsports and California ace Cory Eliason will be in on the action, joining Knoxville’s finest, as well as the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, in the two-day Premier Chevy Dealers Clash on Friday and Saturday, April 18-19.

Fresh off of their two-day stint at I-55 Federated Auto Parts Raceway Park in Pevely, Missouri, Eliason and TKS Motorsports will roll into Knoxville Raceway with the intent to put on a show, chasing their first victory of the season while simultaneously building momentum for additional starts at the famed Marion County Fairgrounds half mile.

As hinted, Eliason and TKS Motorsports spent their most recent weekend in the Show-Me State, joining a field of 60 for two nights of World of Outlaws action at I-55. Despite a deep and competitive field, TKS Motorsports put on a sound performance, qualifying for each of the main events and finishing 23rd, respectively.

“You can find yourself in a hole early with a field like that, but we did what we had to do and qualified for each of the shows,” Eliason, ace of Tammy and Troy Renfro’s Iowa Barnstormers, Des Moines Industrial Products, Webb Family Farms, Landus, Jersey Freeze Ice Cream, AL Driveline, Justice Brothers, Serenity Custom Woodworking, Norwalk Small Engines, No. 2KS sprint car, said. “We got our eyes on Knoxville now. We want to put up some big numbers this weekend and really get this season rolling in the right direction. It’s been a great experience so far racing for Troy and Tammy Renfo. I’m confident big things are ahead.”

ON DECK:
TKS Motorsports and Cory Eliason will continue their 2025 campaign with another two-day WoO campaign, this time returning to the Sprint Car Capital of the World – Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa – on Friday and Saturday, April 18-19.
