BUTLER, Pa. (August 5, 2024) – A weekend visit to Tri-City Raceway Park in Franklin, Pennsylvania, resulted in a top-ten appearance for Western Pennsylvania’s own Cullen Hutchison and car owner Joe Lockhart, doing so in Hutchison’s first-ever RUSH Sprints start on Sunday evening, August 4. The 12-year-old out of Butler finished tenth in his top-ten outcome, commencing the Fan Appreciation Night program from row eight; there were 18 cars entered for action.
For Hutchison, who made the jump to the RUSH level from the national micro sprint scene, the experience was rewarding, as well as exciting, already setting aim on another weekend visit to Tri-City Raceway Park with car owner Joe Lockhart on Sunday, August 11.
“That was a great experience and a lot of fun,” Cullen Hutchison, driver of the Lockhart Raceway No. 83, said. “I can’t thank Joe Lockhart and Lockhart Raceway enough for this opportunity, and a big thanks to Logan Lockhart for some driving tips. It’s a dream come true to be racing a sprint car and I’m ready to do it again.”
