Taking into consideration that the weekend weather outlook has a percipitation percentage less than 50; im going to go ahead and promote that its going to be a beautiful weekend. Three races on tap this weekend with Team Fully Injected staying primarily in western Pennsylvania. My own weekend plans will consist of three tracks; one of which I have never been too before – that being Clinton County Raceway just outside of Lock Haven, Pennsylvania.
Friday night action will take place at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania. Fab Four action mark’s the Friday night Lernerville lineup with Late Models, Sprints, Modifieds, and Stocks filling up the evening card. Saturday night will consist of traditional sprint car racing as the USAC National Sprint Cars’ Eastern Storm’ tour continues through Pennsylvania. I, along with the premiere national wingless series, will head to the Port Royal Speedway half mile this Saturday evening. $6,000 is on the line for Saturday nights winner as some of central PA’s finest are expected to take the wings off. I have been to Port Royal on many different occasions but this weekend will mark the first time I have ever seen non-wing sprint cars at the Juniata County half mile. Actually, this will mark the first time in history that the USAC National Sprint Car Series has made a visit to Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania. The car counts have been great thus far in the Eastern Storm with Lernerville, Grandview, and Lincoln all having over 30 cars. New Egypt Speedway in New Egypt, New Jersey was the first race on the Eastern Storm tour to have less than 30 cars; that event is taking place tonight- only 25 cars have signed in.
The All Star Circuit of Champions will make a trip to north-central Pennsylvania on Sunday night to compete at the Clinton County Raceway just off the Lock Haven exit on Interstate 80. Dale Blaney, and the rest of the All Stars – comprising of a driver’s roster with such names as Greg Wilson, Jessica Zemken, David Gravel, and Tim Shaffer – will visit the tiny 1/4 mile oval for the first time. I plan on making the trip to Clinton County on Sunday if the weather stays like it is supposed too. A large chunk of central Pennsylvania talent is planning to compete with the All Star Circuit of Champions, so a solid feild of 410 sprint cars shouldnt be anything but expected.
New hats will be in stock shortly! They are modeled after the Fully Injected hat that was given to Levi Jones, along with $250, for his quick time award on Monday evening at Lernerville Speedway.
Thanks for stopping by www.fullyinjected.com – and as always; RACE OPEN WHEEL!
