North Jackson, OH (April 16th, 2013) After spending this past Sunday afternoon, April 14th, at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania; North Jackson, Ohio’s Jack Sodeman Jr. will regroup over the next few days, and head back to the Sarver 4/10’s mile oval this Friday night, April 19th, for another round of ‘410’ sprint car competition. Sodeman Jr., a full-time UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions ‘Ohio Region’ and ‘East Region’ competitor in 2013, finished fourth (4th) on Sunday afternoon at the Lernerville Speedway; earning a top five finish during the ‘Steel City Stampede’ main event for the ‘410’ sprint cars. It was Sodeman’s first start of the 2013 season at the Western Pennsylvania oval; which was no accident considering it was the first event of the season for Lernerville Speedway. The ‘Steel City Stampede’ program featured a ‘main event-only’ format for the ‘410’ sprinters; with heat races already completed during it’s originally scheduled weekend back in October. Jack Sodeman Jr. would survive a very hard and very slick racing surface on Sunday afternoon to earn the top five finish. The former Lernerville Speedway winner would follow Danny Smith, Danny Holtgraver, and main event winner, Dale Blaney, under the checkers. It was Jack Sodeman Jr.’s first top five of the 2013 season.

Jack Sodeman Jr., who pilots Jeff and Bonnie Rudzik’s Rudzik Excavating/Economy Tooling no. 94 ‘410’ sprint car full-time in 2013, will return to the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania this Friday evening, April 19th, for the year’s first ‘Fab Four’ points event. With the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions off until April 26th and April 27th, it gives Jack Sodeman Jr. one more weekend of ‘weekly’ action to build up track time and seat time. Lernerville Speedway will welcome it’s notorious ‘Fab Four’ weekly divisions for the first time in 2013 this Friday night; which includes the big and powerful ‘410’ sprint cars. Jack Sodeman Jr. is a former winner at the Sarver oval, and would not mind making another ‘Sheetz Victory Lane’ appearance this Friday night. For more information on Friday night’s ‘Fab Four’ racing event, please visit Lernerville Speedway online at www.lernerville.com.

On Saturday, April 20th, Jack Sodeman Jr., and the entire Rudzik Racing operation, will make the tow to Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania for a second consecutive evening of ‘410’ action in Western Pennsylvania. Mercer Raceway Park, like Lernerville Speedway, will welcome it’s weekly divisions for their first point race of the 2013 season this Saturday evening. The ‘410’ sprint cars are on the ‘Saturday Night Live’ regular event card each and every weekend at the Mercer Raceway Park. The Sodeman/Rudzik duo have been successful at the Mercer County 3/8’s mile oval in the past, and hope to resurrect that success this Saturday night. More information on this weekend’s ‘Saturday Night Live’ event at Mercer Raceway Park can be found at www.mercerracewaypark.com.
