North Jackson, OH (September 4th, 2013) – Jack Sodeman Jr. will roll into the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania this Saturday evening, September 7th with intentions of earning the 2013 Mercer Raceway Park sprint car track championship. The North Jackson, Ohio native and recent Mercer Raceway Park winner trails current ‘MRP’ point leader and defending track champion, Eric ‘Turkey’ Williams, by just two (2) markers heading into the ‘regular season’ finale this Saturday. The Saturday, September 7th ‘Saturday Night Live!’ program will be worth double the normal points; giving Jack Sodeman Jr. an even better opportunity to take command of the point race, and leave Mercer Raceway Park on Saturday as their newest ‘410’ sprint car track champion. Scott Priester, Adam Kekich, and Dan Kuriger round out the top-five in the current Mercer Raceway Park ‘410’ track championship hunt heading into the final point night this Saturday, September 7th. This weekend’s program at the Mercer Raceway Park will feature the ‘410’ sprint cars for the last time in 2013.
Jack Sodeman Jr., who pilots the Rudzik Racing, Rudzik Excavating, Economy Tooling, no. 94 ‘410’ sprinter, has been more than consistent during his 2013 campaign thus far, and has proven to fans and fellow racers, alike, that his ‘94’ team is more than deserving of another track championship. The eastern Ohio native is a former two-time track champion at the Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio; and also owns a track championship at the Sportsman’s Speedway in Knox, Pennsylvania. Sodeman Jr. has roughly forty (40) ‘410’ sprint car starts during the 2013 season; accumulating nearly thirty (30) top-ten finishes. Jack Sodeman Jr. owns six (6) ‘410’ sprint car victories during his 2013 campaign; including the recent ‘Lou Blaney Memorial’ title worth $5,000.
