Jared Miley Ready for 18th Annual Southern 100
JMR Plans to Race Lernerville and Southern Ohio During May 3rd/4th Weekend

South Park, PA (May 2nd, 2013) – The Southern Ohio Speedway in Wheelersburg, Ohio will play host to many of the region’s top super late model teams this Saturday evening, May 4th; including South Park, Pennsylvania’s Jared Miley. Miley, who is the 2012 Lernerville Speedway super late model track champion and division win leader, will travel west this Saturday evening to the Wheelersburg oval to compete in the ‘18th Annual Southern 100’ super late model marquee; which features a 60-lap, $12,000-to-win/$600-to-start main event. The Jared Miley Racing, Colussy Chevrolet, Octane Graphix, Brougher’s Machine Shop, ‘H1’ super late model team has never visited the Southern Ohio Speedway, but looks to invade the south-central Ohio oval this Saturday night and steal the 5-digit top prize.
Super late model teams from the entire Ohio, Kentucky and Pennsylvania region are expected to be on hand this weekend for the ‘Southern 100.’ The two-day, non-sanctioned program is the largest event on the 2013 Southern Ohio Speedway schedule. The ‘Southern 100’ weekend actually begins on Friday evening, May 3rd, with the 40-lap, $4,000-to-win, ‘Pepsi Southern 100 Qualifier’ main event. Jared Miley Racing will not be in action for the Friday night portion of the program. Eddie Carrier Jr. is the defending winner of the $12,000-to-win ‘Southern 100.’
The Jared Miley Racing operation will actually kick-off their upcoming weekend on Friday evening, May 3rd, with an appearance at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania. The world-famous 4/10’s mile oval will be hosting another round of ‘Fab Four’ weekly action this Friday night; which includes all four of the facility’s major weekly divisions. Jared Miley finished second (2nd) last Friday evening, April 26th, at the Lernerville Speedway during ‘Fab Four’ feature action. The April 26th program was Lernerville Speedway’s first ‘Fab Four’ event of the 2013 season. The pilot of the familiar Colussy Chevrolet, ‘H1’ super late model scored six (6) ‘Fab Four’ victories at the Sarver oval during the 2012 season, and hopes to secure win number one (1) of 2013 as soon as this weekend. Miley will roll into Lernerville Speedway on Friday with one (1) super late model victory in 2013; that coming at the Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway during weekly action. The gates at Southern Ohio Speedway on Saturday, May 4th will be open all day as race haulers will be staying overnight. At 3:30 pm, track officials will close the gates and everyone will have to exit the pit area as well as the general admission area. At 4:00 pm, the gates will reopen and everyone already at the facility will pay to get in at that time. Drivers meeting will be at 6:30 pm with hot laps at 7:00 pm. General admission prices will be $25 (ages 17 and up), $20 (ages 13-16), $10 (ages 7-12), and free (ages 6 and under). Pit passes will be $35 (ages 13 and up), $30 (ages 7-12), and free (ages 6 and under).
