South Park, Pennsylvania’s Jared Miley will be in action three nights this coming weekend, as the Western Pennsylvania super late model hotshoe plans to compete at Lernerville Speedway, Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway, and Cannonball Speedway. The three day Western Pennsylvania/Eastern Ohio swing will begin Friday, May 18th, and wrap up on Sunday, May 20th! Each night should feature some highly talented super late model names and teams; especially Sunday at Cannonball Speedway’s “Sunday Shootout Series #1” worth $3,500 to the winner.
The Colussy Chevrolet ‘H1’ will first visit Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania on Friday night, May 18th. Miley is currently on top of the Lernerville Speedway super late model point standings, and has earned two wins in the process. The team visited victory lane on opening night at the facility back on April 20th, and also during a ‘Fab Four’ event on May 4th. Miley’s cushion in the point standings is 40 markers over fellow regional star, Boom Briggs. Jared Miley Racing plans to spend every Friday night at the Sarver oval; in search of super late model track championship! Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway will feature the super late models as a part of their weekly regular program on Saturday, May 19th. The ‘Free Ohio and West Virginia Residents Night’ will grant free admission to all fans who reside in the state of Ohio and West Virginia with proof of photo I.D.. During Miley’s last appearance at the ‘Monster Half Mile,’ the former track champion finished 4th in the $5,000-to-win PENNational 51 featuring the ULMS/UFO Super Late Models. The ‘H1’ is currently tied for third with Alex Ferree in the Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway super late model standings. Be sure to log on to www.ppms.com for all the information!
On Sunday, May 20th, Jared Miley Racing will venture southwest to St. Clairsville, Ohio for an appearance at the Cannonball Speedway. Cannonball is hosting a 35 lap, ‘topless’ super late model event paying $3,500 to the winner! The event will also act as a qualifier for Tyler County’s highly anticipated ‘Black Diamond 125’ in early September. The topless event at Cannonball Speedway is the track’s first competitive night of the 2012 season; only hosting two practice sessions in weeks prior to this.
