Knoxville, IA (August 5th, 2014) – ‘The Jet’ Jared Miley added one more victory to his growing list of wins this past Sunday evening, August 3rd; conquering super late model feature action at the Eriez Speedway near Erie, Pennsylvania. Miley, who pilots the Jared Miley Racing, Colussy Chevrolet, Octane Graphix, Brougher’s Machine Shop, Rocket Chassis, FullyInjected.com, no. H1 super late model, would hold off Andy Boozel, Max Blair, Mike Knight and Rob Blair during all fifty-laps on Sunday evening for the Jay’s Auto Wrecking Super Late Model victory worth $5,000. It was Miley’s first visit to the Erie oval in 2014.
The $5,000 win on August 3rd is a season-high for the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native. Miley’s biggest accomplishment this season heading into competition at the Eriez Speedway was his National Dirt Racing League (NDRL) Northeast Late Model Series victory at the Little Valley Speedway in Little Valley, New York. The NDRL Northeast win was worth $3,000.
Jared Miley will return to competition this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 8th, 9th & 10th; competing at three different western Pennsylvania ovals over a three day time period. ‘The Jet’ will visit the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania on Friday evening, August 8th to help kick off his three-race weekend. ‘The Action Track’ will host a ‘Fab Four’ racing program this Friday night, August 8th; featuring all four weekly racing divisions. Miley is a former Lernerville Speedway super late model track champion, and a two-time winner at the facility in 2014.
Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway will be the destination for Jared Miley this Saturday evening, August 9th. A regular ‘Action Event’ will be the featured program at ‘Dirt’s Monster Half Mile’ this Saturday night. Like at the Lernerville Speedway, Jared Miley is a former Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway super late model track champion, and a two-time winner at the facility in 2014.
Jared Miley’s tentative plan for Sunday evening, August 10th is to visit America’s Motorsports Park near Clearfield, Pennsylvania for the rescheduled Conner Bobik Memorial worth $3,500-to-win and $300-to-start. The speedway’s earlier attempt to complete this event was halted due to inclement weather. Miley’s decision to travel north to America’s Motorsports Park this Sunday will be made over the course of the upcoming weekend.
