Louisiana native and former ASCS National Champion – Jason Johnson- grabbed the World Series Sprintcars preliminary feature win last night at Coates Hire Bunbury City Speedway! The 25 lap, round 14 preliminary win was enough to power Johnson into the second spot of the current WSS point’s chase!
Kerry Madsen and Trevor Green capped off the podium finishes; with Robbie Farr and Kaley Gharst rounding out the top five! The most recent winner with the series, Shane Stewart, finished ninth! James McFadden still holds the top spot in the current World Series Sprintcars championship chase.
Action continues tomorrow night – Saturday, Feb 11th – with the finale of the two day Bunbury Speedway event.
