Ringgold, PA (10-15-2012) After a week off from crate late model competition, Joe Martin, and the entire Joe Martin Motorsports (JM2 Motorsports) operation, is prepared to get back to action this weekend, and make a return to FASTRAK victory lane. Martin will return to competition this Friday and Saturday, October 19th & 20th, at Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex in Markleysburg, Pennsylvania for the annual FASTRAK Northeast Touring Series sanctioned ‘Super Nationals II.’

The two-day ‘Super Nationals II’ format will feature a $1,200-to-win B-main, and a $3,000-to-win A-main for the crate late models; guaranteeing top-notch FASTRAK competition on a very exciting Southwest Pennsylvania oval. The JM2 Motorsports team has earned two consecutive top 2 finishes during FASTRAK competition, and will look to pick up their second consecutive Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex victory this weekend. Joe Martin earned a FASTRAK Northeast Touring Series win at the Markleysburg oval back on Saturday, September 29th worth $2,000. The Allegheny Crane Rental/Wylie Race Cars/Zerowraps/JnJ Motorsports Media/FullyInjected.com ’55’ team is also coming off of a recent runner-up finish at the $20,000-to-win, FASTRAK World Championships in ‘Wild and Wonderful – West Virginia.’ Perhaps Martin has all the momentum that he needs to conquer this weekend’s ‘Super Nationals II.’

“We are ready to get back to Roaring Knob” explained Chunk Martin; the brother and crew chief of Joe Martin, “We took the week off last week to get some things together for this weekend…last time we were at Roaring Knob we won…hopefully things fall into place this weekend and we can repeat that same outcome!”

The ‘Super Nationals II’ will start with an open practice on Thursday evening, October 18th. Competition will kick-off this Friday evening, October 19th, with qualifying time trials and heat race action for the FASTRAK Northeast Touring Series crate late models. The $3,000-to-win main event will take shape on Saturday evening, October 20th. Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex is located near Markleysburg, Pa. just off of scenic Route 40 on Fearer Road (look for the new red road sign) seven miles east of Nemacolin Woodlands on the right, one mile west of Yough Lake on the left.
