FASTRAK Northeast crate late model regular, Joe Martin, will head back to familiar territory this Saturday evening with intentions to record a victory to accompany his top five finish from last weekend. Martin will venture back to Sharon Speedway near Hartford, Ohio this Saturday, April 14th, for a regular night of racing. The long break in the FASTRAK Northeast schedule allowed the Martin Farms ’55’ team to enter non-sanctioned events to help build momentum for the 2012 season; and so far so good! The JM2 Motorsports team out of Ringgold, Pennsylvania finished third at Sharon Speedway last weekend; surviving multiple early race cautions to secure the podium finish.
FASTRAK Northeast action will pick back up next Friday night, April 20th, at the Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex in Markleysburg, Pennsylvania. The FASTRAK crate regulars will join the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series on the evening card. The $1,200-to-win FASTRAK event at Roaring Knob will then be followed by a scheduled race at Dog Hollow Speedway in Strongstown, Pennsylvania on Friday, April 27th. That race is also paying $1,200 to the winner.
