Austintown, OH – 7/31/12} ‘The Man From Austintown’ – Justin Whitesell – will be in action this Friday night, August 3rd, with the ‘410’ sprinters at Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio. The ‘Outlaw Sprint Warrior’ competitor will go wheel-to-wheel against some of the most experienced ‘410’ sprint car teams that Ohio has to offer this Friday night; hoping to gain valuable experience and track time to better prepare himself for the upcoming 305 sprint car special at Wayne County Speedway on Friday evening, August 10th. Whitesell’s ‘Outlaw Sprint Warrior’ sprint car is powered by a 5.3 Liter GM engine, and competes every Saturday night at Mercer Raceway Park in the Ti22 Performance ‘Outlaw Sprint Warrior’ division. The newly formed division is made up of teams with sprint cars powered by both 305ci, and 5.3 Liter GM engines; giving local drivers and teams a stepping stone before converting into ‘410’ competition. With Wayne County Speedway hosting an $800-to-win ‘305/5.3’ sprint car event on August 10th, this upcoming weekend is the only opportunity for Whitesell to gain some valuable information on the Orrville surface.

“This is a great opportunity to for us to gain some knowledge on the Wayne County Speedway track surface” said Justin Whitesell about racing with the ‘410s’ this Saturday, “We are going to be out-powered, obviously, but we just want to get some track time and a bunch of laps under our belt before our big special next Friday.”

Whitesell has one win in sprint car competition in 2012; that coming at Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania during an ‘Outlaw Sprint Warrior’ main event. The Austintown, Ohio native has two career ‘Outlaw Sprint Warrior’ wins at Mercer Raceway Park, and currently finds himself fifth in the 2012 track championship chase. The familiar Superior Auto Body ’17’ sprint car will also be in action at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania on a few occasions before the 2012 season is complete. Whitesell will compete in the 305 sprint car event at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania on Friday night, August 31st.
