‘The Man From Austintown’ – Justin Whitesell – earned another top five finish this weekend at Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania. The ‘Outlaw Sprint Warrior’ competitor finished third in the main event Saturday night at the 3/8’s mile bullring; crossing the finish line just behind Rob Felix and Guy Griffin. Whitesell, who earned his first career O.S.W. victory last year at Mercer Raceway Park, also finished third in his respective heat race Saturday night. Whitesell will return to action this Saturday night, May 12th, for a $5o0-to-win ‘Outlaw Sprint Warrior’ event at Mercer Raceway Park; which will be co-headlined with the All-Star Circuit of Champions’ ‘410’ program.
Whitesell currently finds himself third in the Mercer Raceway Park – Ti22 Performance Outlaw Sprint Warrior point’s standings. The Austintown, Ohio native spends every Saturday evening at the Mercer oval; but, will make a Lernerville Speedway appearance later in the summer.
