VINCENTOWN, N.J. (October 14, 2024) – Vincentown, New Jersey’s Justin Whittall made the most of his opportunity to pilot John and Kelly Stehman’s No. 23, getting the call to join the team just in time for Lincoln Speedway’s $20,000-to-win Keystone Showdown featuring the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series on Saturday, October 12. It was the Greatest Show On Dirt’s final Central Pennsylvania appearance of the season, replacing a previously scheduled doubleheader at Selinsgrove Speedway.

Despite tough company to debut a new owner and driver combination, Whittall and Stehman Motorsports persevered and raced on to qualify for the evening’s main event before finishing 17th, commencing action from 21st after winning the program’s Last Chance Showdown.

Devon Borden, regular ace of the well-known Central Pennsylvania open wheeler, has stepped away from the sport momentarily, but plans to return soon.

“Just can’t thank John and Kelly Stehman enough for the opportunity to drive their car. Devon needed some time and we hope he’s back sooner than later, but with our family team already planning on not being at Lincoln, this situation just kinda worked out,” Whittall, a recent winner at Port Royal Speedway and Williams Grove Speedway, said. “We had fun. We still have some things to learn about each other, but that’s with any new driver/car owner. I’m just super grateful for the opportunity.
