VINCENTOWN, N.J. (June 1, 2020) – After a stretch of tough luck and mediocre results, Vincentown, New Jersey’s Justin Whittall put together an impressive outing, this time entering action at the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, May 30.

Joining a loaded field of 46 sprint cars, Whittall proved himself to be contender the entire evening, first qualifying fifth during his respective group of qualifying time trials, followed by a second-place finish during heat race competition to automatically qualify for the evening’s $4,000-to-win main event. Despite a tricky and abrasive racing surface, Whittall held strong during the 30-lap feature and drove on to finish 16th after starting ninth.

“It was a fun night for our team. It feels good to put together a great effort, especially against a level of competition like that,” Justin Whittall explained, driver of the JW Motorsports/Brotherton Brewing Company/Beechwood Landscape Architecture and Construction LLC/Pioneer Auto Body/Mid-Atlantic Transport/Worldwide Bearings/FK Rod Ends/Stilo Helmets/JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry/No. 67 sprint car. “Not to mention, it was a great confidence booster for us. Momentum plays a huge part in sprint car racing and having plenty of it is important.”

Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports will unveil upcoming plans at a later time. Tentatively, the team plans to enter action at Selinsgrove Speedway in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, on Friday, June 5, followed by a return to Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, June 6.
