Kittanning, Pennsylvania native and Fully Injected teammate, Kevin Schaeffer, finished third in the sprint car main event tonight at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway; during the ‘Tri-Star Pittsburgher” finale. Kevin started third in the 22 lap main event and would lead the first few circuits before being passed by eventual winner and pole starter, Ed Lynch Jr. Race runner-up, Mike Wagner, eventually slipped by the former Lernerville Speedway Track Champion; leaving Schaeffer to fill the last spot on the podium. Schaeffer also would earn a runner-up finish during his respective heat race. There were 17 cars signed in at PPMS.

Danny Holtgraver finished 6th with the All-Star Circuit of Champions this evening at Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio. The Jim Ford Classic finale this evening was fifty laps in distance and worth $10,000 to the winner. Bryan Sebetto, the 2011 FAST Champion, was tonight’s event winner.

Adam Kekich traveled to foreign territory this evening; as the Hermitage, Pennsylvania based, Fully Injected, 410 team traveled to Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio for a regular night of sprint car action. Kekich, who finished 4th in the final point standings at Mercer Raceway Park in 2011, finished third in his respective heat race, and would eventually finish just one spot shy of a top ten in the feature event. This was Adam’s first time competing at the Ohio based facility. He would finish eleventh out of the 27 cars signed in.
