Germantown, Tennessee native and defending Chili Bowl Nationals Champion, Kevin Swindell, opened his week of Chili Bowl competition with a win last night during the Suburban Chevrolet Thursday night Chili Bowl preliminary.
Kevin Swindell beat Shane Cottle to the finish; with Brady Sweet, Richard VanderWeerd, and Indiana native, Brady Short, rounding out the top five! Just like the past two night’s of competition, the top three from each qualifier automatically make Saturday night’s A-main!
Tonight, Friday – January 13th – is the final night of preliminary action for the 26th Annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl. Like the previous evenings, tonight’s lineup is full of depth and talent – with only the top three earning the right to start tomorrow night’s 50 lap A-main.
Bud Kaeding, Bobby East, Dave Darland, Daryn Pittman, Cory Kruseman, Rick Eckert, Hunter Schuerenberg, Joey Saldana, and David Gravel are just a few of the big names in tonight’s preliminary lineup!
