‘King of the Commonwealth’ On Deck for Gregg Satterlee
‘The Truth’ In Search of $20,000 Top Prize at VMS

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

Indiana, PA (April 6th, 2015) – After a long break in his 2015 schedule, with ‘Mother Nature’ taking most of the blame, Gregg Satterlee will return to super late model competition this Saturday evening, April 11th at Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway near Jamaica, Virginia. Aaron’s ‘King of the Commonwealth’ is on the weekend card at the state-of-the-art Virginia Motor Speedway; highlighted with a $20,000-to-win super late model main event sanctioned by Ultimate Super Late Model Series. Satterlee will head to southern Virginia with the intentions to earn his first victory of the 2015 season, and take home the five-digit pay day.

“VMS is a great facility…always nice to get back there” said Satterlee, “We’ve had a lot of time off recently…the weather hasn’t been too kind to us either…hopefully we can stay dry this weekend and get this deal in…a good finish this weekend will definitely give us some much needed momentum for the rest of the month.”

The month of April will be action packed for the Satterlee Petroleum Distributors, Keyser Manufacturing, Valvoline, ‘22’ operation; with potential events scheduled in Virginia, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Maryland. After making the trip to Virginia Motor Speedway on Saturday, April 11th, ‘The Truth’ will turn his attention back towards the midwest for the rescheduled ‘Illini 100’ at the Farmer City Raceway near Farmer City, Illinois. The two-day World of Outlaws Late Model Series sanctioned event, originally scheduled for the month of March, will feature a $6,000-to-win main event on Friday, April 17th, and a $15,000-to-win main event on Saturday, April 18th. If the weather looks to be a factor, Satterlee will instead venture to the Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, Maryland for the ‘Salute to a Champion’ Rodney Franklin program on Saturday, April 18th worth $4301 to the winner.

“We are starting to get into the busy part of the year” explained Satterlee, “We have a few different options every weekend so that makes it nice for us if weather becomes an issue…we have a lot planned…we’ll just wait and see what happens with the weather and make our travel plans based on that.”

Gregg Satterlee will end his month of April with a pair of $10,000-to-win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series events in Pennsylvania and Maryland. The Rochester Mills, Pennsylvania native, now residing in Indiana, Pennsylvania, will join the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at the Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex in Markleysburg, Pennsylvania on Friday night, April 24th, and then again on Saturday, April 25th at the Hagerstown Speedway.
