$2,000 Up For Grabs Saturday at DHS

Pittsburgh, PA (April 21st, 2015) – Former Lernerville Speedway super late model track champion Jared Miley will be back in action at ‘The Action Track’ this Friday evening, April 24th for another round of ‘Fab Four’ competition. Miley, who finished third at the Lernerville Speedway last Friday evening during the track’s season opener, will make his way back to the Sarver, Pennsylvania four-tenths mile oval with the intentions to earn his first win of the 2015 season. ‘The Jet’ was a nine-time winner during super late model competition in 2014, including three at the Lernerville Speedway.
The Jared Miley Racing, Colussy Chevrolet, Octane Graphix, Brougher’s Machine Shop, Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic, Schaeffer’s Racing Oil, Sunoco Race Fuels, Rocket Chassis, ‘H1’ team had originally planned to venture south to the Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex in Markleysburg, Pennsylvania this Friday evening to join the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, but has since decided against the idea.
“We wanted to go to Roaring Knob and do the Lucas Oil deal, but a lot of factors played against that” said Miley, “We only raced once this year…not sure if we are really prepared to race with those guys just yet..I think racing closer to home will be better for us until we get some laps under our belt.”
On Saturday, April 25th, Jared Miley will head north to the Dog Hollow Speedway near Strongstown, Pennsylvania for the ‘Spring Time Spectacular 30’ event; a crate late model program awarding $2,000 to the winner. Miley will enter a number of crate late model events in 2015; especially at times during the season when his super late model schedule is ‘slow.’
