North Jackson, Ohio (May 22nd, 2013) – The Rudzik Racing, Rudzik Excavating, Economy Tooling no. 94 ‘410’ sprint car, piloted by Jack Sodeman Jr., will be back in action this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 24, 25th & 26th, for three separate ‘410’ sprint car events at two different race tracks in two different states. Jack Sodeman Jr. will kick off his upcoming Memorial Day weekend with a ‘weekly’ event at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania; followed by two complete UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions events at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio. The three-race Ohio/Pennsylvania Memorial Day weekend swing will not only give Jack Sodeman Jr. an opportunity to win his second Lernerville Speedway ‘410’ sprint car main event of the 2013 season, but it may also give Jack Sodeman Jr. the chance to earn a career-first UNOH All Star main event victory.
“We are pretty excited about this weekend…hopefully the weather holds off so we can get all three nights in” said Jack Sodeman Jr., “It’s been an interesting year…we’ve had our ‘highs’ so far, and we have had our ‘lows’ but nothing keeps us down…this team works very hard each and every week and it will eventually pay off in a big way…we are still learning alot about these cars, and learning alot about the tires…I just can’t thank Jeff and Bonnie Rudzik enough for this opportunity…hopefully this weekend allows us to build some momentum and get a win or two!”
The Jeff and Bonnie Rudzik owned Rudzik Racing ‘94’ team will kick off their upcoming weekend at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania on Friday evening, May 24th. Jack Sodeman Jr. is a former winner at the Sarver 4/10’s mile oval already in 2013, and will look to score win #2 this Friday evening. Friday night’s itinerary at the world-famous Lernerville Speedway will feature a full ‘Fab Four’ program; highlighted with all four (4) of the track’s weekly divisions including the ‘410’ sprint cars. The North Jackson, Ohio native will enter the Friday night ‘Fab Four’ program third (3rd) in the current Lernerville Speedway ‘410’ sprint car driver standings.
On Saturday and Sunday, May 25th & 26th, Jack Sodeman Jr. and the Rudzik Racing operation will head west to the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio for two full nights of action with the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions. The UNOH All Star ‘National’ / ‘Ohio Region’ weekend at the Fremont Speedway will be highlighted with a 50-lap, $10,000-to-win main event for the ‘410’ sprinters on Sunday evening. Jack Sodeman Jr. has never won an UNOH All Star main event, but will have two opportunities to do so this weekend. The former Sharon Speedway ‘410’ sprint car track champion will go head-to-head with some of the nation’s top ‘410’ sprint car teams this weekend at Fremont Speedway; including current UNOH All Star ‘Ohio Region’ point leader, Danny Holtgraver.
Jack Sodeman Jr.’s recent ‘410’ results include a top five finish last Friday night, May 17th, at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania. The Ohioan finished fourth (4th) during the 25-lap, ‘Fab Four’ ‘410’ sprint car main event at the Sarver oval.
