PARSONS, Kan. (April 11, 2022) – With the NOW600 Series canceling weekend action at Dallas County Speedway in Urbana, Missouri, JJ Loss and JKL Racing made a rapid destination switch and returned to familiar stomping grounds at Port City Raceway in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Saturday, April 9.
The decision to turn their compasses south toward Tulsa proved beneficial for the Parsons, Kansas-based micro team, ultimately translating their two-division visit into a pair of top-ten outcomes, highlighting the trip with a seventh-place score in the Stock Non-Wing program. The 14-year-old went on to finish eighth in the Winged A-Class portion of the program, improving five positions in an all-out slider slugfest.
Loss, driver of the JKL Racing, Next Level Signs and Graphics Co., Driven Midwest, Journey Transport, White Pine Paving, Ryan Wilson, CSI, Keizer Performance Wheels, Radical Race Gear, No. 67, made improvements in the Stock Non-Wing A-Main as well, advancing two spots on what proved to be a very slick and tricky surface.
“I’m ready for the weather to improve so we can get back to our normal schedule, but luckily for us, we have a great facility like Port City Raceway just south of us that we can race at if weather in other areas becomes an issue,” JJ Loss explained. “I can’t thank my family, my team, and all of my partners enough for their support in 2022. We have a lot on our plate this year, but I’m ready and excited.”
