WAYCROSS, GA (May 9, 2012) – The stars and cars of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will be in action this weekend with a first time trip to Hartford (MI) Motor Speedway on Friday Night, May 11th. Then on Saturday Night May 12th the series will travel to the LaSalle Speedway in LaSalle, IL for the second exciting race of the weekend in the upper Midwest. Each event will pay $10,000 to the winner and $800 to start.

The Lane Automotive 48 Presented by Allstar Performance will highlight the Michigan ½ mile at Hartford Motor Speedway this Friday night. Hartford will become the 61st track the series has sanctioned since its inception. John Berglund and everyone at Lane Automotive have been strong supporters of this Hartford Speedway. The LOLMDS will race at LaSalle Speedway for the ninth time in its history, as the Spring Shootout will take place this Saturday night May 12th. The LaSalle Speedway has been owned and operated by the famed Izzo family since 1992.
