The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series proves once again that they are the premier national super late model touring series in the country!
The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will kick-off their 2012 schedule at the East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, Florida for the 36th Annual DART Winternationals. For the eighth consecutive season, the LOLMDS will sanction six nights of racing action at the “Clay by the Bay” as a prestigious warm-up to their upcoming season. This year’s Winternationals action is set to begin Monday, Feb 13th, and conclude on Saturday, February 18th! Monday and Tuesday’s events will pay $5,000 to the winner; Wednesday and Thursday night winners will receive $7,000; with the final two evening’s of competition paying out $10,000 to the winner! Points for the series will not begin until Friday evening!
The rest of the season will be just as impressive as the beginning, as thirteen events on the 2012 schedule will be paying $20,000 or more to the winner! The 2012 series schedule includes 46 events in 19 different states at some of the top racing facilities in the country. The total payout/contingency value for the 2012 season will exceed 3.2 million dollars
