BROWNSBURG, Ind. (August 2, 2021) – Kerry Madsen and Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing put together an impressive four-race stretch with the All Star Circuit of Champions during the recent week, concluding the Missouri and Iowa road trip with four straight top-five finishes, two of which were victories that occurred in consecutive fashion. Impressive, nonetheless, one Madsen’s victories was the product of row five, rallying from tenth to the top of the podium at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa, on Friday, July 30. After shuffling forward to third in just seven laps, Madsen went on to take command on lap 20, scooting by Bill Balog to secure the $6,000 payday.

Madsen, driver of the Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing/Rush Truck Centers/Advance Auto Parts/Curb Records/Ford Performance/Digital Ally/Sage Fruit/FloRacing/Absolute Automation and Security/Hunt Brothers Pizza/Mobil 1/Carquest Auto Parts/J&J Auto Racing No. 14 sprint car, earned his second All Star victory in two days during a start at the famed Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, on Saturday, July 31. Starting third on the grid, Madsen took command over KCP Racing’s Gio Scelzi on lap 16, solidifying the second spot over Spencer Bayston just three circuits prior; the Knoxville win was worth $7,000.

“We didn’t really know where the predominant lines were going to be,” said Madsen in Knoxville Raceway victory lane. “It was pretty tricky, and you could gain a spot, and lose a spot. I decided to calm down and just hit the bottom, and we were able to get back by a couple cars. From there we just stayed down there. We probably weren’t the best we’ve been tonight, but it doesn’t matter when you get the victory.”

The “Madman” opened his four-race All Star swing with fifth and second-place finishes, respectively, during starts at I-70 Motorsports Park and Missouri State Fair Speedway on July 27 and 29. Each of the top-five outcomes were rallies from further back, bumping ahead three spots at I-70 and two spots at Missouri State Fair.

An upcoming schedule for Kerry Madsen and Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing has yet to be determined. Fans are encouraged to keep alert online, as well as on social media, for continuing updates regarding Madsen’s Tony Stewart Racing schedule.
