BROWNSBURG, Ind. (August 25, 2025) – It was a hard-fought stretch through North Dakota for “The Madman” Kerry Madsen and Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing (TSR), and despite issues plaguing their visits to River Cities Speedway and Red River Valley Speedway on Friday and Saturday, August 22-23, the team preserved well, concluding the weekend with 12th and 16th-place finishes, respectively, each of which from the back of the main event fields.

Madsen, ace of Tony Stewart’s Carquest, Advance Auto Parts, Curb Records, Martin One Source, No. 15S sprint car, finished 12th at River Cities after starting fifth on the grid, forced to the work area following an early-race incident. Incidentally, Madsen’s outcome at Red River Valley, 16th as noted, followed a similar, unlucky path, forced to the back after trouble on the opening lap. Madsen started tenth.

Although some tough luck in North Dakota, Madsen and TSR experienced a positive outcome at Mississippi Thunder Speedway in Fountain City, Wisconsin, on Tuesday, August 19. The Knoxville, Iowa, resident via St. Marys, New South Wales, Australia, finished seventh from third on the grid, opening competition with a runner-up performance during heat race competition and a third-place finish in the evening’s dash.

With all results considered, TSR remains sixth in the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series championship chase padded by 28 top-ten finishes and eight top-fives. The 2025 schedule will resume over Labor Day Weekend with a two-day stay at Huset’s Speedway beginning Saturday, August 30.
