MYERSTOWN, Pa. (March 11, 2019) – It has been a tough start for Brent Marks, but the third-year Outlaw is not deterred, already looking ahead to another weekend on the West Coast.
Marks, who finished 18th during World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series competition at Thunderbowl Raceway on Saturday, March 9, will continue his campaign with the Greatest Show On Dirt on Friday and Saturday, March 15 & 16. The Myerstown, Pa., native will visit Silver Dollar Speedway and Stockton Dirt Track during the upcoming weekend, hoping to score his first top-ten finish of the season, and most importantly, work to etch another mark in his Outlaws win column.
“It has been tough so far this year, but we’ll keep our heads up and keep moving forward. That’s all we can do,” Marks said, driver of the Brent Marks Racing/M&M Painting & Construction/BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/Eagle Hotel/No. 19 sprint car. “The season is young. We have a lot of schedule left. Once we get some momentum on our side, we’ll be in good shape.”
Marks highlighted his 2018 Silver Dollar and Stockton visits with a 17th place finish during the annual Gold Cup at the Silver Dollar 1/4-mile; the ‘Myerstown Missile’ started 23rd.
