MYERSTOWN, Pa. (October 21, 2019) – Including the largest payday of his career, the ‘Myerstown Missile’ Brent Marks has reeled off four consecutive top-ten finishes during World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series competition, continuing that trend during starts in Kansas and Missouri during the recent weekend.

Marks, driver of the Brent Marks Racing/M&M Painting & Construction/BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/Eagle Hotel/No. 19 sprint car, finished ninth and tenth, respectively, during his recent weekend road trip, each of which highlighted with a hard-charging performance at Lakeside Speedway on Friday, October 18.

Lining up 22nd on the Lakeside feature grid, Marks rebounded big, ultimately ending his evening ninth in the running order, also securing the KSE Hard Charger Award for advancing the most feature positions.

Marks’ visit to Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, Missouri, on Saturday, October 19, was nearly as impressive, ending his Jason Johnson Classic visit with a bounce from 15th to finish tenth.

“The National Open win at Williams Grove Speedway really gave this team the boost of confidence it needed,” Brent Marks said, who owns 24 World of Outlaws top-ten finishes in 2019. “It’s tough out here. It’s easy to get frustrated. The Williams Grove win was a big turning point for us and we couldn’t be more excited. We hope to win in front of our home fans this weekend.”

Brent Marks will continue his 2019 World of Outlaws campaign, his third year on the road with the Greatest Show On Dirt, with the two-day Nittany Showdown at Port Royal Speedway on October 25 & 26. The high-dollar weekend will award a total winner’s share equaling $23,000: $8,000 on Friday and $15,000 on Saturday. Brent Marks is certainly no stranger to victory lane at Port Royal Speedway. The nearby Myerstown, Pennsylvania-native is a former Night Before The Tuscarora and Tuscarora 50 champion.
