FAWN GROVE, PA (April 26, 2017) – After dominating heat race competition Friday at Williams Grove, 19-year-old Campbell lined up on the front row for the feature. After going wheel to wheel for the lead on lap three, Campbell filed back in line in the runner up spot. While running the cushion, Lucas Wolfe snuck underneath for the runner-up spot dropping Campbell back to third. Campbell adjusted lines and began hitting his marks on the bottom eventually working back by Wolfe and challenging for the lead once again. In thrilling fashion, Campbell crossed the line third in front of some of the top talents in the area. The entire team was pleased with the evening calling it a great night overall.

Saturday night, Matt Campbell Racing headed north for Matt’s second career start at Port Royal Speedway, first ever in a 410. Campbell was strong all night crossing the line 14th. “The car was great, I just need to get used to the track. It was an awesome weekend all together. I can’t thank Jim Shuttlesworth enough for helping us with setting up the car,” said Campbell.

The 2016 National Sprint Car Rookie of the Year will challenge Tony Stewart’s Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions Friday at Williams Grove.
