Max Stambaugh Will ‘Run For The Rabbit’ at Lima on Friday
Speedweek Events Also on Upcoming Week Agenda

Elida, Ohio (June 17th, 2015) – A full slate of ‘360’ and ‘410’ sprint car competition will fill Max Stambaugh’s upcoming agenda. The Elida, Ohio native will enter events with the K&L Ready Mix NRA ‘360’ Sprint Invaders and UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions during the next two weekends; kicking things off with the ‘Run For The Rabbit XV’ at Limaland Motorsports Park on Friday, June 19th.
“Pretty busy the next few weekends” explained Max Stambaugh, “We will mix some ‘410’ racing in with our ‘360’ schedule…excited to get back in a ‘410’…speedweek gives us a great opportunity to run some bigger races right in the area…we’ve been good at Limaland all year so far…that is probably the speedweek show that I am most excited for.”
Before jumping on the ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek’ trail, ‘Mad Max’ Stambaugh will join the NRA ‘360’ Sprint Invaders at the Limaland Motorsports Park on June 19th. The $2,000-to-win ‘Run For The Rabbit XV’ program will headline the racing card on Friday night. Stambaugh, driver of the familiar Specialized Therapy, Biggies Coast to Coast, Triple JJJ, Tim Hogan’s Carpet, Texas Roadhouse, Dale’s Concrete, K & L Ready Mix, Robb Avenue Body Shop, Radio Hospital, no. 6M sprint car, will hunt for NRA win number three of 2015 at the Limaland bullring on Friday night, as well as propel himself back into the series point lead. ‘Mad Max’ will enter the ‘Run For The Rabbit XV’ second in the current NRA championship standings on the strength of two victories and a recent top five finish at Waynesfield Raceway Park on June 13th.
“We held the NRA points lead for a while but ran into a little bit of bad luck” said Stambaugh, “We had a ‘DNF’ at Limaland back on June 5th and that put us behind…we’ll try to get back on track this weekend.”
Max Stambaugh is scheduled to participate in three ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek’ events in 2015 beginning with action at the Waynesfield Raceway Park in Waynesfield, Ohio on Sunday, June 21st. The 2014 NRA Sprint Invaders series runner-up will also participate in speedweek programs at the Limaland Motorsports Park on Friday, June 26th and at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio on Saturday, June 27th. Saturday’s program at Fremont is worth $10,000.
“Speedweek is a tough deal” said Stambaugh, “We’ll be up against the best every night…we’ll see what we can do.”
