FREMONT, Ohio (September 21, 2020) – The “Texas Traveler” T.J. Michael scored a second consecutive top-ten finish at Fremont Speedway during the recent weekend, this time maintaining his place inside the top-ten to finish eighth after starting in the exact same position. The Plano, Texas-native, who resides in Fremont during much of his racing schedule, finished fourth at “The Track That Action Built” just one weekend prior.

Consistent, to say the least, Michael’s month of September has been more than productive, especially in northwest Ohio where the Texan has earned four total top-ten finishes between Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway, one of which against the All Star Circuit of Champions; a tenth-place rally from the back of the field.

“We’ve been working hard all summer and our results reflect that. I’m proud of this team. I just wish it wasn’t almost October,” Michael said, driver of the Advanced Architectural Stone, Crown Battery, Fremont Fence Company, Pro-Tech Services, Wood Heating and Air Conditioning, Kear’s Speed Shop, Wings Unlimited, Big D’s Pizza, No. 8M sprint car. “We’re starting to build a pretty solid notebook. The plan is to keep these positive results coming and hopefully get another win before the year is up. I know we are more than capable of making that happen.”

T.J. Michael and Michael Motorsports will continue their 2020 campaign with a return trip to Fremont Speedway on Saturday, September 26, furthering their prep work for the annual Jim Ford Classic featuring the All Star Circuit of Champions on Friday and Saturday, October 9-10. The two-day, season-ending program will cap with a $10,000-to-win main event.
