FREMONT, Ohio (July 8, 2019) – T.J. Michael’s weekend in northwest Ohio was consistent, as well as productive, scoring one top-ten finish in the process, as well as perfecting a hard charge from 19th to finish 12th during Crown Battery Night action at Fremont Speedway on Saturday, July 6 (crossed under the checkers tenth, but was later penalized two positions).
Michael, driver of the Michael Motorsports/Advanced Architectural Stone/Crown Battery/Fremont Fence Company/Pro-Tech Services/Wood Heating and Air Conditioning/Kear’s Speed Shop/Wings Unlimited/Soul Fully Rooted/Big D’s Pizza/No. 8M sprint car, kicked off his holiday weekend at the home of ‘Ohio’s Finest Racing’ – Attica Raceway Park. Solidifying another mark in his top-ten column, the Plano, Texas-native, who calls Fremont, Ohio, home during the summer months, advanced from 13th to finish seventh.
“Not a bad weekend for our team. We are getting more and more comfortable with Attica Raceway Park. That’s pretty important to us considering the Brad Doty Classic is just around the corner,” Michael expressed, who qualified for the 2018 Brad Doty Classic at Attica with 50 cars in attendance. “I just can’t thank everyone enough for their hard work and support this season. I have a great team and they do whatever it takes to make me feel comfortable.”
T.J. Michael and Michael Motorsports will continue their 2019 campaign with another round of action in the Buckeye State, first returning to Attica Raceway Park on Friday, July 12, all before heading east to Wayne County Speedway for a round of local competition on Saturday, July 13. The ‘Texas Traveler’ will enter the weekend with an array of top-ten finishes, most notably finishing fifth against a stout FAST Series field at Sharon Speedway on May 11.
