FREMONT, Ohio (April 26, 2021) – Utilizing an “off week” to compete close to home before resuming full-time All Star Circuit of Champions competition in Pennsylvania and Ohio, the “Texas Traveler” T.J. Michael spent his recent weekend within an hour of his Fremont, Ohio-based outfit, participating in weekly competition at Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway on Friday and Saturday, April 23-24.

Despite Fremont’s program getting the axe from Mother Nature just as A-Main action was set to push off, Michael’s Attica visit one night prior went off without a hitch, ultimately securing a top-ten outcome in the form of a ninth-place finish. Michael qualified for main event action with a fourth-place run during his respective heat race, igniting the evening with the 12th-fastest time during qualifying time trials.

“We kinda needed a weekend like that. It feels good to get back to familiar territory and race within an hour of our shop. Our All Star swing through Virginia and Pennsylvania was a tough one, so racing close to home gave us a chance to kinda reground, physically and mentally,” Michael explained, driver of the Michael Motorsports, Advanced Architectural Stone, Crown Battery, Fremont Fence Company, Pro-Tech Services, Wood Heating and Air Conditioning, Kistler Racing Engines, Elite Wings, Big D’s Pizza, Viva Los Healthy, M&L Graphics, HP Striping and Seal Coating, No. 8M sprint car. “I can’t thank my team and all of my partners enough for their hard work and dedication this season. We have another busy one ahead, but we’ll be ready for it.”

T.J. Michael and Michael Motorsports will continue their 2021 All Star Circuit of Champions campaign with a tripleheader in Pennsylvania and Ohio, set to invade Lernerville Speedway, Sharon Speedway, and Tri-City Raceway Park in consecutive fashion on Friday through Sunday, April 30 through May 2. The Sharon and Tri-City stops will award $6,000 top prizes; Lernerville to award $7,000.

With five point-earning Series programs in the books, the Plano, Texas-native is currently 16th in the All Star championship chase.
