FREMONT, Ohio (June 7, 2021) – A four-day road trip through Illinois and Wisconsin turned into four consecutive All Star Circuit of Champions feature starts for the “Texas Traveler” T.J. Michael, doing so against a stout contingent of not only his fellow full-time All Stars, but also the IRA Outlaw Sprint Series. Michael highlighted his four-race/four-track campaign with a pair of 17th-place scores at Wilmot Raceway and Plymouth Dirt Track, respectively, each located within the Badger State. The two remaining weekend performances resulted in a 23rd-place finish at Fairbury Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois, and a 22nd-place finish at Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.

Michael, a FAST Series winner already in 2021, will have plenty of opportunities to trump his weekend outcomes, as the 39th edition of Ohio Sprint Speedweek is set to kick-off on Friday, June 11, at Attica Raceway Park igniting an eight-race schedule over nine days with eight tracks on the agenda, all awarding a minimum of $6,000. The Speedweek finale at Portsmouth Raceway Park, dubbed the Dean Knittel Memorial, will award a top prize equaling $17,554.

After the Attica opener on June 11, Ohio Sprint Speedweek will continue with appearances at Fremont Speedway on Saturday, June 12, Wayne County Speedway on Monday, June 14, Sharon Speedway on Tuesday, June 15, Waynesfield Raceway Park on Wednesday, June 16, Muskingum County Speedway on Thursday, June 17, Limaland Motorsports Park on Friday, June 18, and Portsmouth Raceway Park on Saturday, June 19.

“That was a pretty solid weekend for our team. We had the opportunity to turn a lot of laps and that’s what’s most important. We aren’t going to learn anything if we don’t make laps,” Michael said, driver of the Michael Motorsports, Advanced Architectural Stone, Crown Battery, Fremont Fence Company, Pro-Tech Services, Wood Heating and Air Conditioning, Kistler Racing Engines, Elite Wings, Big D’s Pizza, Viva Los Healthy, M&L Graphics, HP Striping and Seal Coating, No. 8M sprint car. “Hats off to AJ Havens and everyone else that busts their butt for this team. Ohio Sprint Speedweek is no joke. It’s a long, grueling week, but this is what we live for. I’m ready to get started.”

Michael will enter his Ohio Sprint Speedweek campaign 12th in the All Star Circuit of Champions driver standings, qualifying for 11 of the 17 point-earning features thus far in 2021.
