PENNDEL, Pa. (April 22, 2019) – For Brett Michalski, racing in Central Pennsylvania provides a constant flow of useful information, and despite his results, good or bad, there is always something positive to come out of competing in Pennsylvania Posse Country.
Michalski, driver of the Brett Michalski Motorsports/JR Michalski Heating & Air Conditioning/Irish Rover Station House/York by Johnson Controls/Wood Services/Big Heads/No. 73B sprint car, continued his 2019 campaign with a visit to the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway on Saturday afternoon, April 20, joining some of the best in the business for a shot at $6,900; the top prize for Saturday’s Weldon Sterner Memorial.
Although the 2018 Lincoln Speedway Rookie of the Year was out of the hunt early, ultimately finishing 18th after starting in the exact same position, it was the experience that proved to be more than satisfying for the Penndel, Pa., native.
“Every week we go there, we learn something brand new. That’s the best part about racing with the guys in Central Pennsylvania,” Brett Michalski explained, who owns a pair of top-ten performances at Lincoln Speedway in 2019. “This place is tough, but when you have a good night and things fall your way, it’s the best feeling in the world. We’ll throw away this 18th place finish and move forward. I’m already excited for next week.”
Up next on the schedule, Brett Michalski and Brett Michalski Motorsports will continue their 2019 schedule with a pair of stops in Posse Country, once again returning to the world-famous paperclip that is Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, April 26, followed by a stop at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, April 27.
