PENNDEL, Pa. (May 20, 2019) – Despite a busy schedule that included three World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series starts in four days, Penndel, Pennsylvania’s Brett Michalski will not back down, as the 2018 Lincoln Speedway Rookie of the Year Award winner will return to competition on Tuesday evening, May 21, in the Garden State, once again joining the Greatest Show On Dirt.
“It was a fun weekend. Anytime you have the opportunity to race with the World of Outlaws, it’s special. They are an impressive group of racers who offer a lot to drivers like myself. I try to take in as much as I can everytime I am on the race track with those guys,” Brett Michalski expressed, who joined the Outlaws at Lincoln Speedway on May 15, followed by the Morgan Cup doubleheader on Friday and Saturday, May 17 & 18. “Our results during the last three World of Outlaws starts were not what we wanted, but we still enjoyed ourselves and learned as much as we could. That’s all we can ask for.”
After joining the World of Outlaws at Bridgeport Speedway in Bridgeport, N.J., on Tuesday, May 21, Michalski will return his focus back to Central Pennsylvania and rejoin the Pennsylvania Posse during starts at Lincoln Speedway and Port Royal Speedway on Saturday and Sunday, May 25 & 26, respectively. Sunday’s visit to the Port Royal ‘Speed Palace’ – the annual Bob Weikert Memorial final – will award a $10,000 top prize.
All three of Michalski’s prior starts with the Greatest Show On Dirt ended during C-main competition.

2018 Highlights: Earned 2018 Lincoln Speedway 410 Sprint Car Rookie of the Year honors. Earned Lincoln Speedway and BAPS Motor Speedway heat race victories. Finished 11th in the final Lincoln Speedway standings.
2019 Highlights: Finished tenth during Lincoln Speedway’s season-opening Icebreaker. Rallied from 17th to finish 13th at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, March 23. Finished fifth at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, April 13.
