PENNDEL, Pa. (September 14, 2020) – Brett Michalski’s Tuscarora 50 campaign started out slow, but found speed in a hurry, ending his three-day stretch against the All Star Circuit of Champions with a runner-up finish during non-qualifiers feature action on Saturday, September 12. The Penndel, Pennsylvania-native led eight laps of the $2,000-to-win program, doing his best to hold off eventual winner and Pennsylvania hotshoe, Lucas Wolfe.

The runner-up finish equals Michalski’s best outcome of the season, taking full advantage of the opportunity to race again after missing a Tuscarora 50 transfer position in the evening’s B-Main by three spots.

“It was a great way for our team to end the weekend. We wanted to make the Tuscarora 50, but for us to have another opportunity to race and earn more money worked out for the better,” Brett Michalski said, driver of the JR Michalski Heating & Air Conditioning/Irish Rover Station House/York by Johnson Controls/Wood Services/Richboro Pub/Maxim Chassis/Don Ott Racing Engines/Kriner Engines/Penske Shocks/VP Racing Fuels/Hoosier Tire/Wings Unlimited/Racer’s Used and New Parts Warehouse/CR Graphix/SC Signs/Pyrotect/Hinchman Indy/No. 73B sprint car. “Hats off to my team for busting their butts all weekend. We found ourselves scrambling a lot on Saturday to keep the car ready, but they pulled through and kept us on track.”

Brett Michalski and Brett Michalski Motorsports will continue their 2020 campaign with a potential four-race weekend in Pennsylvania Posse Country, set to visit Lincoln Speedway, BAPS Motor Speedway, Williams Grove Speedway, and once again at Lincoln Speedway, on Wednesday through Saturday, September 16-19. The Lincoln Speedway double carries a $26,900 potential, as Wednesday’s Weldon Sterner Memorial will pay $6,900-to-win and Saturday’s annual Dirt Classic will pay $20,000-to-win. In addition, Williams Grove’s Jack Gunn Memorial/Dirt Classic Qualifier will award $5,000.

The Jack Gunn Memorial and Dirt Classic will feature the All Star Circuit of Champions.
