Mike Reft Earns Back-to-Back Top Fives; Ready for Sizzler at ‘PPMS’
Round #1 of RUSH Pro Late Summer Sizzler Featured Saturday at ‘PPMS’

Pittsburgh, PA (April 24th, 2013) – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania’s Mike Reft scored a second consecutive top five finish during RUSH Pro Late Model competition this past Sunday afternoon, April 21st, at the Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway near Imperial, Pennsylvania. Reft, who competes weekly at ‘Dirt’s Monster Half Mile’ in the RUSH crate late model division, finished fourth (4th) on Sunday during the crate main event; bettering his performance from ‘Opening Day’ by one position. Mike Reft opened his season at ‘PPMS’ with a fifth (5th) place performance during the RUSH Pro Late Model main event back on April 13th; competing against a very competitive, and experienced, field of crate late models. The pilot of the familiar McGervey Electric, Advanced Auto Parts, Bobby’s Lounge, no. 9R crate late model will head back to Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway this Saturday afternoon, April 27th, for a chance to keep his top five streak alive.
Round number one of the ‘PPMS’/RUSH Pro Late Models’ ‘Sizzler Series’ will take shape this Saturday afternoon, April 27th, at the Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. The ‘Sizzler Series’ opener for the crate late models will begin at 2:00PM; and will feature a 25-lap main event, with a $1,000 top prize. With touring action on break this weekend for both the FASTRAK and RUSH crate late models, many of the region’s top crate late model teams are expected to be at ‘Dirt’s Monster Half Mile’ for the marquee event. The ‘Sizzler Series’ schedule is made up of five (5) RUSH Pro Late Model events over the course of the entire 2013 Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway season. Extra incentives and point monies will be awarded to those who finish at the top of the mini-series’ standings.
