Miley Earns ULMS Win at Thunder Mountain; WoO Doubleheader Next
JMR Works Toward Double-Digit Win Mark

Pittsburgh, PA (August 31, 2015) – After a frustrating weekend at the 27th annual “Pittsburgher 100” at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway, Jared Miley would make a dramatic U-turn and earn his eighth victory of the 2015 season on Sunday night, August 30, during ULMS Racing Series action at Thunder Mountain Speedway near Brookville, Pennsylvania. Miley, pilot of the Jared Miley Racing, Colussy Chevrolet, Octane Graphix, Brougher’s Machine Shop, Ireland’s Bait Shop of Elk County, Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic, DLB Metals, #H1, earned the 11th annual “Stephanie Eckl Memorial” victory worth $3,500 on Sunday night at Thunder Mountain; a second consecutive ULMS super late model victory for “The Jet” and his sixth super late model victory of 2015. With one event remaining on the 2015 ULMS schedule, Jared Miley is the current ULMS Racing Series championship point leader.
“We had a pretty tough weekend at Pittsburgh, but this definitely makes up for that” said Jared Miley, “We were hoping for a better appearance at ‘PPMS’ during the ‘Pittsburgher,’ but just couldn’t get the weekend going. To bounce back and get a win at Thunder Mountain says a lot about this team. We never give up and we keep pushing through. We have another big weekend coming up at Lernerville Speedway. Hopefully we can put ourselves in good positions and capitalize on them.”
Before earning a ULMS Racing Series win on Sunday evening in Brookville, Jared Miley entered the 27th annual “Pittsburgher 100” at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway, sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. Unfortunately, Miley was unable to qualify for the $20,000-to-win, 100-lap main event on Saturday, August 29; his evening would end during B-main competition.
“Just not our weekend” said Miley, “We had some trouble getting the car where it needed to be. Even in the B-main on Saturday, we failed to find traction. We’ll put that all behind us and work to beat the World of Outlaws this weekend at Lernerville.”
Jared Miley Racing will spend the next few days preparing for a World of Outlaws Late Model Series doubleheader at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania. The national touring group will headline competition at “The Action Track” on Friday, September 4, and Saturday, September 5. World of Outlaws Late Model Series competition will begin with the “Working Man 50” on Friday evening, September 4, followed by the rescheduled “Firecracker 100” on Saturday, September 5, worth $30,000. Jared Miley scored a 13th place performance during the 2014 edition of the “Working Man 50.” The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native finished third and seventh during “Firecracker 100” preliminary feature action back in late June. The finale of the three-day program was rescheduled due to inclement weather conditions.
