MO MONEY NO PROBLEMS: Aaron Reutzel and RSR capture $100,000 Bob Weikert Memorial at Port Royal; Lawrenceburg and Butler next

KNOXVILLE, Iowa (May 27, 2025) – An historic occasion, nonetheless, Clute, Texas’ own Aaron Reutzel not only captured the richest payday of his career Sunday night at Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania, but the ace of Brian and Lisa Ridge’s Power Plus | Folkens Brothers Trucking No. 87 captured the richest payday in Central Pennsylvania history, and did so in fantastic fashion. Reutzel, now a three-time High Limit Racing winner in 2025 who is fifth in the Series standings, scored his memorable feat in the annual Bob Weikert Memorial finale, earning $100,000 for his efforts as well as the coveted Bull Trophy.

Reutzel, a former Tuscarora 50 champion at the “Speed Palace,” started from the pole position Sunday evening, doing so via draw following the highest point total accumulated in the evening’s qualifying session and heat races. The former All Star champion’s path to victory was not all gravy and watermelon, forced to fend off Anthony Macri followed by a late race caution; Reutzel was unscathed.

Ridge and Sons Racing’s run through Central Pennsylvania activated with back-to-back top-tens, opening action with a fifth-place score at Grandview Speedway on May 20, followed by a sixth-place performance in the $20,000-to-win Bob Weikert Memorial preliminary on May 24.
