Jonestown, PA (January 8th, 2015) – Since returning home from the Tulsa Shootout in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Brock Zearfoss has been hard at work; hard at work preparing for his 2015 campaign that will include nearly 60 races across much of central Pennsylvania and the surrounding region. Zearfoss, who pilots the Mooses LZ Bar and Grill, Central Builders Supply, Leaches Automotive, Meckleys Limestone, no. 3z ‘410’ sprint car, plans to be a weekly contender at two central Pennsylvania venues in 2015, as well as participate in a majority of the Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek schedule. The Jonestown, Pennsylvania native showed some improvement and success in 2014, and hopes to continue that trend during the upcoming season.

“We had a pretty good season last year…although I think we may have had more heartaches than highlights” said Brock Zearfoss, “We probably entered close to 75 races, but it really didn’t feel like it due to all of the motor issues we had…we’ve been working hard this offseason; getting the cars ready and getting our plans finalized …we are excited to get back to the track…I just need to thank everyone involved with this race team; all of our sponsors and supporters…they are the ones that get us to the track!”

Zearfoss plans to spend each and every Friday night at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania during the upcoming season; contending for a career-first ‘410’ main event win and track championship. ‘The Jonestown Jet’ also plans to visit the Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania on a frequent basis in 2015. Just like at Williams Grove Speedway, the 24-year-old will work towards earning that first Port Royal Speedway ‘410’ victory, and ultimately, a track title.

Other plans for 2015 include participating in a large portion of the annual Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek series, as well as join the ‘Pennsylvania Posse’ in defending home dirt against the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series during multiple ‘Outlaw’ events. Zearfoss will hop on the Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek trail at Williams Grove Speedway, Port Royal Speedway and Selinsgrove Speedway. A full-time work schedule will keep the pilot of the familiar ‘3z’ from racing the entire speedweek.

“We plan to aim most of our focus towards Williams Grove and Port Royal this year” explained Brock Zearfoss, “We’ll be there pretty much every week…the plan is to also race against the World of Outlaws when they are in town, and race some of the speedweek deal…being that I work full-time, it will be tough making it to all of the speedweek shows, but we definitely plan on going to the Williams Grove, Selinsgrove and Port Royal stops…maybe Hagerstown, too if it works out…we’ll have to wait and see.”

Despite going winless during ‘410’ competition in 2014, Zearfoss will enter the upcoming season with a fair share of positive momentum. Brock earned 16 top-five and 24 top-ten finishes during the recent season, along with two sprint car victories; one during ‘358’ competition at the Williams Grove Speedway, and one during ‘360’ competition at the Selinsgrove Speedway. ‘The Jonestown Jet’ rounded out his 2014 ‘410’ campaign at the World of Outlaws ‘World Finals’ near Charlotte, North Carolina; qualifying 12th and 13th out of nearly 60 entries, and earning one A-main appearance.

“We definitely had our fair share of ups and downs last year, but everyone does” said Zearfoss, “All we can do now is focus on what is ahead of us…the plan is to get the season started at the Port Royal Speedway opener in March…I just really need to thank my entire team and my sponsors…Mooses, Central Builders, Leaches, Meckleys, JP Donmoyer…their continuing support allows me to keep doing what I love to do…I appreciate what they do for me, so hopefully I can repay them with a few pictures of their logos in victory lane.”

Brock Zearfoss’ official schedule will be released in the near future. Stay tuned.
