NDRL NORTHEAST LATE MODELS INVADE PORT ROYAL JUNE 21, 410 SPRINTS AND ECONO LATE MODELS ALSO ON SPECIAL RACING CARD

Port Royal – The first ever appearance in the region by the National Dirt Racing League super late models is on tap this Saturday, June 21 at Port Royal Speedway with action getting underway at 7 pm.

The NDRL Northeast Region stars will gather for a match up with the weekly Jake’s Carts/Enviroman Products super late model regulars of Port Royal for a 30-lap, $3,000 to win main event.

The Aumiller’s Insurance 410 sprints and the Gray’s Auto and Towing Econo Late Models are also on the big racing card.

Adult general admission for the special program is set at $20 with students ages 12 – 18 admitted for the always low price of JUST $5.

Touring late model stars expected to invade for the NDRL special include Justin Kann, Hesston; Keith Barbara, South Park; Dan Stone, Thompson; Mike Knight, Ripley, Ny.; Jared Miley, South Park; Max Blair, Centerville; Greg Oakes, Franklinville, Ny.; Michael Oakes, Franklinville, Ny.; and Billy Dickson, West Decatur.

Keith Barbara is the current NDRL Northeast point leader over Blair, Knight, Kann and Miley.

So far this season NDRL Northeast wins have gone to Gregg Satterlee, Kann and Miley.

At Port Royal to date, six late model races have produced six different winners including Nick Dickson, Coleby Frye, Mike Lupfer, Tim McCreadie, Brett Schadel and Tim Wilson.

In 410 sprint action eight main events have placed seven different winners in victory lane including Greg Hodnett (2); along with Blane Heimbach, Rick Lafferty, Dale Blaney, Doug Esh, Mike Erdley and Brady Bacon.

In econo late model action Andrew Yoder has taken three of four events contested with another popular win being taken by local driver Trent Brenneman.

Port Royal Speedway will host the Interstate Truck and Tractor Pullers Association at 7 pm on June 28 as circle track action gets a week off before returning on July 3 and July 5 with the 24th annual PA Speedweek series for 410 sprints at 7:30 pm both nights.

The ITTPA pulls get underway at 7 pm on June 28 with adult admission for the pull priced at just $10.
