Phoenix, Arizona (May 7, 2014)The stars of the National Dirt Racing League are preparing to make their one and only 2014 visit to the Buckeye State for this week’s Atomic Blast at Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio. The Atomic Blast, slated for Thursday through Saturday – May 8th through 10th, will feature 3 full evenings of racing action at the southern Ohio 3/8ths mile oval. “This is a huge event for us. This will be the biggest event we have held since we took control of the track. We have had a great response from both drivers and fans. We are expecting a large turnout of both. And we believe that the NDRL has already made its mark as the series to see in 2014. So we want to invite everyone down to see the things we have done here and take in a great weekend of racing action.” said Atomic Speedway promoter Brad McCown.

The NDRL gang will kick start the weekend on Thursday, May 8th with practice and an autograph session in the main grandstands area. We know that they are just as excited and enthused as we are about the Atomic Blast weekend. We are expecting a great field or race cars, many of which are not seen in the area very often. We are also expecting tremendous fan turnout as well. We have had some of the most exciting races of the season so far and we expect more of the same at a great track like Atomic.” commented NDRL Series Director Kelley Carlton.
