New Look, Same Plan. Brent Marks Ready for 2015
Will Open New Season at Lincoln’s ‘Icebreaker’ in Late February

Myerstown, PA (January 13th, 2015) – Despite his decision to forgo a trip to Florida this February, Myerstown, Pennsylvania’s Brent Marks will still stay plenty busy in 2015. Marks, who pilots the Brent Marks Racing, BAPS Auto Paint & Supplies, Creekside Auto Sales, Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel, no. 19M ‘410’ sprint car, will once again travel to all areas of the country; imitating a schedule similar to 2014. The defending ‘Living Legends Dream Race’ winner at Port Royal Speedway plans to ignite his upcoming campaign at the Lincoln Speedway ‘Icebreaker 30’ on Saturday, February 21st.
“We are still waiting on a few schedules to be released, but right now we have a pretty good idea on where and when we will be racing” explained Brent Marks, “We’ll run a similar schedule as last year…racing roughly 30 ‘Outlaw’ events; as well as other local and regional high paying shows…there are some bigger races in the midwest we would like to be a part of…we decided not to go to Florida; allows us to save some resources for the rest of the year…it’s going to be an exciting season…I want to take the time to thank all of those who came out to our fundraiser last Saturday…it was a great success and this team greatly appreciates it.”
Brent Marks will enter the 2015 season with a fair share of success, and a high level of momentum. The 24-year-old captured the Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek finale at Selinsgrove Speedway in early July, and earned a ‘Kings Royal’ A-main starting position at the Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio during his first ever event appearance. Perhaps Marks’ most impressive accomplishment in twenty-fourteen occurred during the second half of the season. The Myerstown native captured three consecutive victories in central Pennsylvania; earning victory lane appearances at Williams Grove Speedway on 7/25, Port Royal Speedway on 7/26, and back at Port Royal Speedway during the ‘Living Legends Dream Race’ program on August 2nd. The dream victory was worth just shy of $12,000.
“We had a pretty good year last year…started out tough but things improved in a hurry it felt like” said Brent Marks, “We had our highs and we had our lows, but we kept working hard and kept moving forward…this team works extremely hard and I appreciate everything they do…BAPS, Creekside Auto Sales, Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel, Russell Heller Builders, KC Automotive; they all play a huge role on this race team….I can’t wait to get 2015 started.”
