OH SO CLOSE: Andrews with speed at Attica; AFCS doubleheader ahead

SANDUSKY, Ohio (June 30, 2025) – Chris Andrews and Chris Andrews Racing were well on their way to victory Friday night at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, but Lady Luck would unfortunately intervene, forcing Andrews to give up command with less than a handful of circuits remaining.
Andrews, ace of his own Ohio Truck Sales, Real American Beer, Fleet Financial, Cintas, Whiteford Kenworth, Toledo Spring, NAPA Fremont Auto Parts, Burdue Insurance, TruckParts4U.com, No. 15C sprint car, led Attica’s main event until three-to-go, ultimately sliding up and over turn one’s tricky cushion forcing a caution. Eventually scored 13th, the triumph would have been Andrews’ second of the season at the home of “Ohio’s Finest Racing,” finding victory lane on Friday, March 28.
The Sandusky native had planned to join the All Star Circuit of Champions at Mercer Raceway on Saturday, June 28, but a night to “shake it off” was needed.
“Man, just heartbreak for this entire Ohio Truck Sales | Real American Beer team,” Andrews was quick to note. “Just got a little impatient I think…needed to just cruise those last few laps, but I got into the corner too hard and the rest is history. Regardless, a great effort by everyone on Friday. Everyone works too hard to be denied wins. We’ll work for some redemption on Friday and Saturday.”

Chris Andrews and Chris Andrews Racing will continue their 2025 season with Attica/Fremont Championship Series (AFCS) visits to Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway on Friday and Saturday, July 4-5.
