Ohio Dirt Blow Out and Millstream Next for Texas Traveler
Michael Continues Hunt for Career-First 410 Victory

Plano, Texas (September 23, 2015) – Despite the 2015 season quickly coming to a close, a lot is still left on the table for Texas native T.J. Michael. The high school senior will make his way back to the state of Ohio this Saturday and Sunday for a pair of 410 sprint car events at two different venues. Michael will visit Wayne County Speedway near Orrville, Ohio, on Saturday night, September 26, followed by a trip west to Millstream Speedway in Findlay, Ohio, on Sunday, September 27. Wayne County Speedway’s annual “Ohio Dirt Blow Out” will headline action on September 26, with the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions invading Millstream Speedway on Sunday, September 27.
“We still have some racing left this year” said T.J. Michael, “We’ll race as much as we can until we are out of places to go. We didn’t have the best of weekends last weekend at Fremont Speedway, but we’ll work to improve on that this Saturday.”
T.J. Michael recently entered action against the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions at Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio. The pilot of the Fremont Fence Company, Advanced Cast Stone, Kear’s Speed Shop, Shell Shock, Hinchman Suits, #8M, 410 sprint car entered both nights of the “Jim Ford Classic” at Fremont Speedway on September 18-19. The “Texas Traveler” qualified for each main event, including the $10,000-to-win finale on Saturday, and recorded back-to-back 20th place finishes. Despite some disappointment, Michael outperformed nearly half of the 36-car average over the course of the weekend.
“The weekend went well for the most part” explained Michael, “We qualified for the feature on Friday and Saturday, just couldn’t get going forward. I struggled when the track got slick and that kept us from getting anywhere. We learned quite a bit and figured some things out that we need to adjust for next time.”
